« Vlaï or the Legend

Boisseau, Rosita (March 2007), Télérarama.

Text-free theatre? Object theatre? Mime? These are different sides of the creator, Hervé Diasnas, who also composed the electro-acoustic music… sounds and rhythms, humoristic “asides” and shades of Nino Rota. With playful inventiveness he makes different genres his own, thumbing his nose at clichés and closed doors and establishing meticulousness in movement as a fundamental, whether elaborated or minimalist. The strangely familiar universe of a many-sided character that exists in different ways according to his avatars.

Servin, Micheline (September 2007), Les temps modernes.

Naï and Vlaï are on stage...

.

You browse through Vlaï’s scenes as you would through the pages of book. Vlaï is a secret world, an enchanted dream world... Ageless and free of period references, this gently labyrinthic piece turns the stage into a morsel of universe that’s way out of the ordinary. Running through it all is a beautiful spirit from elsewhere.

Mayen, Gérard (April 2006), Danser.
